My name is Jeff Benda.  I became a Christian in 1976 as a freshman in college.  By God’s grace, I have been passionately following Him ever since.  After college, I went on staff with CRU and then joined the team of Peace Community Church in the Chicago area as their youth pastor.  Then, I pursued my Masters in Biblical Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, and while there, I met my wife, Donna.  I am very fortunate to be able to say that Donna has been my partner in life and ministry for 34 years!  We also are very blessed to have two wonderful kids.

After graduation from seminary, I went into business for ten years to see if I could live out my faith effectively in the business world.  After serving in the corporate world and through the local church, we sensed God leading me to pursue a pastoral position in Little Rock, AR.  I then joined the staff of Fellowship Bible Church and served in a number of areas over 14 years.  During the last 5 of those years, I also completed my Doctorate of Ministry in Discipleship at Talbot School of Theology.

In March of 2013, I joined the team of Crossroads Community Church as their Grow Pastor.  This meant that I had the opportunity to develop their discipleship path for the church so we all could be “whole life disciples of Jesus.”

I am very thankful for the opportunity to be joining the team of Union Town Bible Church, in August of 2020.    It is my heart’s desire to be an active disciple of Jesus and in the process be an encouragement to others on this journey with me.
